The Beacon: Visual Story
This visual story has been created to help you plan your visit to The Beacon, Bradford Culture Company's very own touring venue.
Welcome to The Beacon
This visual story is here to help you plan your visit to The Beacon, our super versatile pop-up venue.
When you arrive
There are picnic tables outside, one with a wheelchair user space.
Entrances to The Beacon
The main entrance has ramp access and a small step. The space is then all on one level.
There is a main entrance in the centre of the building.
There also are entrances to the main space either side of the curtain, this is where you will enter for ticketed event to get your tickets scanned.
When you enter, your tickets will be scanned here if you’re attending a ticketed event.
The main space
The main space is located behind the curtain after entering The Beacon.
The main space may look different depending on the event. For example, if you’re attending a seated event, the space will be arranged with seating.
Toilets
To get to the toilets, you need to exit the building through the side door opposite the one you entered.
A link to a map showing the nearest Changing Places toilet is here:
There’s a ramp down to a row of gender-neutral toilets, and an accessible toilet.
Volunteers
Our team of friendly volunteers will help you if you need anything. They wear bright sunshine yellow uniforms!
