Ticket terms and conditions

Tickets purchased from Bradford 2025 UK City of Culture are subject to the terms and conditions below. Contact our Ticketing team on [email protected] if you have any questions.

1. Terms of sale

Tickets are sold subject to the right of Bradford 2025 UK City of Culture to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.

Bradford 2025 UK City of Culture reserves the right to refuse admission or eject any person whose conduct is deemed to be disorderly or who fails to comply with company rules and regulations.

E-tickets for ticketed events will be emailed to the email address provided at the point of sale. An e-ticket may be shown on a mobile device or printed to gain entry. If you have not received your e-tickets from us, please contact our Ticketing team on [email protected]. It is the responsibility of the booker to inform us of any change of email address or mobile phone number.

Tickets are for personal use only and cannot be resold for profit or commercial purposes. Violation of this policy will render the ticket void and non-refundable, and it will be cancelled.

2. Refund and exchange policies

Refund policy
Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled or rescheduled. If an event is cancelled, ticket-holders will be offered a full refund. If an event is rescheduled, ticket-holders will be given the option to attend the rescheduled date or receive a full refund. Payments for cancelled or rescheduled tickets will be made via the original payment method.

Exchange policy
Tickets may be exchanged for another event within the programme, subject to availability and a processing fee of £1 per ticket (excludes free events). Alternatively, tickets may be exchanged to credit on your Bradford 2025 account, which may be redeemed against our ticketed events and activities. Exchanges must be requested at least seven days before the event and are only available for events sold by Bradford 2025 UK City of Culture.

Credit is valid for 4 months from the issue date and cannot be re-issued once expired. All unused credit will expire on 1 December 2025 irrespective of the issue date in the previous months.

Sold-out events
For sold-out events, exchanges to another event are only possible if your ticket is resold via our waiting list.

3. Payment methods

We are cashless and accept card payments only. All payments must be made in GBP (£).

Accepted cards include Visa and MasterCard. For online payments, we also accept Apple Pay and Google Pay.

4. Terms of admittance

All bookers must have a valid ticket to gain entry to ticketed events and activities.

For certain events, latecomers may be admitted at a suitable break in the event at the discretion of management.

The use of cameras, video or audio recording equipment is strictly prohibited unless otherwise stated by the event organisers.

Our events may be professionally filmed or recorded. By attending our events, you consent to be filmed, photographed or have audio recordings taken of you. You may be featured as an audience member in any resulting photographs or recordings of an event.

Where possible, we will display clear signage to let you know that photography, filming or audio recording is taking place. If you do not want to be photographed, filmed or have audio recordings taken of you during an event, please contact a member of our team.

5. Cancellation policy

If an event is cancelled, ticket-holders will be notified as soon as possible via the contact details provided at the time of booking. Ticket-holders will be offered a choice of a refund or a ticket to a rescheduled event (if applicable).

In the event of a cancellation, Bradford 2025 UK City of Culture is not responsible for any accommodation, travel or other costs incurred by the ticket-holder.

7. Discounts and offers

Discounts are available for selected events for the following concessions: seniors, Bradford 2025 Youth Pass holders, Access scheme members, under 16s and groups.

Special promotional offers and discounts cannot be combined with other offers.

Discounts must be applied at the time of purchase. No adjustments will be made after the purchase is complete.

8. Bradford 2025 Youth Pass

Members of this scheme are eligible for discounted tickets to selected Bradford 2025 events, alongside access to exclusive events, priority booking and workshops. Please note the following terms and conditions below:

  • The Bradford 2025 Youth Pass is open exclusively to Bradford residents (living in a BD1-BD22 or LS29 postcode) aged 16-25.
  • Members can purchase a maximum of two discounted tickets per eligible Bradford 2025 event.
  • Discounted tickets as part of the scheme are limited in number and are subject to availability – take advantage of your priority booking window to avoid disappointment.
  • ID checks will be conducted upon entry to our events, for proof of eligibility. If the ticket holder is not eligible, you will be asked to pay the difference for a full price ticket, or refused entry.
  • All Youth Pass tickets are non-transferable and are not eligible for resale.
  • Standard terms and conditions of sales also apply to all bookings.

Accessible pricing and discounts
We believe that access to arts and culture should be affordable for everyone. We offer accessible pricing options and discounts for eligible bookers, including but not limited to those who require additional support. Please contact our Ticketing team for more information on access discounts.

Access performances
To ensure that everyone can enjoy our performances, we offer a variety of access options, including:

  • BSL-interpreted performances. These performances are interpreted in British Sign Language (BSL) by professional interpreters.
  • Captioned performances. We provide captioned performances to assist bookers who are deaf or hard of hearing. These performances may also help other people.
  • Audio-described performances. We offer audio descriptions that provide live verbal commentary of the performance for bookers who are blind or visually impaired. Audio description may also help autistic people or anyone experiencing an unfamiliar artform.
  • Breakout/quiet spaces. We will provide a breakout or quiet space for as many events as possible.
  • Relaxed performances. We will offer relaxed performances for as many performances as possible.

Accessible venues
All our venues are designed to be accessible to all bookers. They are wheelchair-friendly, with designated seating areas available. Please notify our Ticketing team at the time of booking if you require wheelchair-friendly seating.

If you require any additional support, please don’t hesitate to contact us ahead of your visit. We are happy to work with you to ensure your experience is as smooth and enjoyable as possible.

10. Data sharing

We process personal data in several ways as part of developing and delivering Bradford 2025 UK City of Culture. If required by law or requested by authorities investigating illegal activities, we will provide information about your activities. Merchandise terms and conditions

By placing an order, you agree to our Terms & Conditions. All merchandise is subject to availability and only available via our official Bradford 2025 channels.

Collection Orders

Orders placed for collection can be collected at our Ticket + Info Hub anytime within our opening hours.

 

Postal Orders

Delivery times may vary depending on your location. Delays due to external factors (e.g., postal strikes, weather) are beyond our control.

Returns & Refunds

Returns are accepted within 14 days of receipt for faulty or damaged items. Items must be returned in their original packaging, proof of purchase and clear description of the fault or damage.

Refunds or exchanges are not otherwise available for merchandise unless the item is faulty.

Competition and prize draw terms and conditions

Bradford 2025 UK City of Culture: Zayn – Stairway to the Sky 2024 Giveaway Terms & Conditions

1. Organiser
The competition is organised by Bradford 2025 UK City of Culture (Bradford Culture Company Ltd).

2. Prize
Three pairs of tickets for Zayn – Stairway to the Sky 2024 at the O2 Academy in Leeds on 2 December 2024. Only one pair of tickets can be won by each eligible entrant.

3. Eligibility
Entrants must follow Bradford 2025 on TikTok @bradford2025 or Instagram @bradford_2025

4. How to Enter
Comment on the competition posts on either the Bradford 2025 TikTok account or Bradford 2025 Instagram account, tagging a friend. Only one entry per person. Duplicate entries will result in disqualification.

5. Competition Period
The competition runs from 11:00 AM on Saturday 23 November 2024 to 11:00 AM on Wednesday 27 November 2024.

6. Winner Selection
Winners will be chosen at random after the competition closes.

We will verify winners’ membership of the Bradford 2025 Youth Pass and confirm they follow the Bradford 2025 TikTok account.

7. Notification
Winners will receive a direct message on TikTok on Instagram on Wednesday 27 November 2024 with details on how to claim their tickets.

Winners will be contacted by 5pm on Wednesday 27 November 2024 and must reply by direct message before 10am on Thursday 27 November 2024. If no response is received, the prize will be offered to the next eligible entrant from the randomised list.

8. Travel and hospitality
Winners must make their own way to the event and will not be reimbursed for any travel expenses, hotels, food and drink, or other costs.

9. Ticket Terms
Tickets cannot be resold.

10. Youth Pass Sign-Up
By signing up for a Bradford 2025 Youth Pass, entrants agree to receive the Bradford 2025 newsletter. Subscribers can unsubscribe at any time.

Bradford 2025 Youth Pass Prize Draw

Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

Eligibility
The prize draw is open to Bradford 2025 Youth Pass members who complete both the Bradford 2025 Youth Pass Survey and Prize Draw survey in full.

Participants must provide a valid email address in the Prize Draw Survey to receive the prize.

Only one entry per person is permitted.

Prize
Five (5) winners will each receive a £10 Bradford BID Gift Card in the form of a virtual e-Gift Card.

The e-Gift Card can be used at over 140 participating venues across Bradford city centre. For the full list of venues, please visit: https://townandcitygiftcards.com/product/bradford-gift-card

The card does not have to be spent in one go and can be used across multiple venues, subject to the terms and conditions of the card issuer.

Prize Draw Details
The survey must be completed by 12 noon on Monday, 16 December 2024, to be eligible.

Five winners will be drawn at random from all eligible entries after the closing date.

Winners will be notified via the email address provided on the Prize Draw Survey by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, 18 December 2024.

Delivery of Prizes
Prizes will be sent as virtual e-Gift Cards to the winners’ email addresses.

The organisers are not responsible for any issues with delivery caused by incorrect or invalid email addresses.

General
By entering the prize draw, participants agree to these terms and conditions.

Bradford 2025 reserves the right to disqualify any entries that it believes do not comply with these terms or where fraudulent activity is suspected.

Bradford 2025 reserves the right to substitute the prize with an equivalent alternative if necessary.

The decision of Bradford 2025 regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding.

Bradford 2025 UK City of Culture Audience Survey Prize Draw

Every month during 2025, respondents to the Bradford 2025 UK City of Culture audience survey will be entered into a Monthly Prize Draw. See more details about this prize draw below.

1. Organiser
The competition is organised by Bradford 2025 UK City of Culture (Bradford Culture Company Ltd).

2. Prize
A monthly prize of a Bradford City Centre Gift Card to the value of £10 will be offered. For full details of where the gift card can be used please visit Gift Card | Bradford BID.

Additional prizes may be offered from time to time. These will be advertised as part of the survey.

3. Eligibility
Entrants must respond to at least the first 3 questions on our Bradford 2025 UK City of Culture audience survey either in person or via the survey link on our webpage

4. How to Enter

  • In person – if you are interviewed at Bradford 2025 event you will be provided with a QR code to securely provide your name and contact details as part of the prize draw.
  • Online – as part of the online audience survey you will be linked to a secure page to provide your name and contact details. Your details will be kept separate from your responses to the survey. Only one prize draw entry per month per person, duplicates will be removed.

5. Competition Period
The prize draw will take place at the end of each calendar month throughout 2025.

6. Winner Selection
Winners will be chosen at random after the competition closes. Only one prize draw entry per month per person, duplicates will be removed.

7. Notification
Winners will contacted by email at the start of each calendar month with details on how to claim their voucher.

If no response is received, the prize will be offered to the next eligible entrant from the randomised list.

8. Terms

Where tickets are offered as an alternative prize entrants and winners must comply with all venue and event policies, including security policies and age restrictions, including those of any partner organisations.
