DRAW! supported by David Hockney is a nationwide project to get everyone drawing.

In celebration of David Hockney’s birthday on 9 July, artist and designer Morag Myerscough has chosen ‘Birthday’ as a theme for people to draw throughout the month of July.

In honour of David Hockney’s 88th birthday, artist and designer Morag Myserscough is inviting us all to create a drawing inspired by the theme ‘Birthday’.

Check out Myerscough’s original Birthday artwork below, created just for Bradford 2025. This vibrant drawing grounded in her signature approach of type, geometric form and bursts of colour.
