Bradford Culture

Our Story of Change

Our Story of Change has underpinned our ambitions for what we hoped Bradford 2025 would achieve through its programmes, projects, events and activities, and specifically the benefits it would bring to Bradford’s people, places, businesses and creative sector.

It has underpinned our evaluation, conducted through a range of methods including face-to-face interviews, online surveys, event attendance, case studies, group discussions and creative activities.

Vision

To take the best of Bradford today to help shape the Bradford of tomorrow – a place defined by its diversity, vitality and opportunity, with arts and culture providing the engine for economic growth and social change.

How we’re evaluating Bradford 2025

The Interim Evaluation Report explores some of what Bradford did and achieved in its year as UK City of Culture. Data collection, validation and analysis is still ongoing, and so the data presented is provisional. At the end of 2026, the Bradford 2025 Evaluation team will publish a Final Evaluation Report, providing more detailed evidence of the outcomes and impacts of Bradford 2025 UK City of Culture on Bradford’s residents, creatives, places and partnerships.
