Bradford 2025 UK City of Culture and the award-winning charity Ramadan Tent Project have partnered to bring the Ramadan Festival to Bradford- in a celebration of the city and district, for a vibrant celebration of art, culture, and creativity designed to unite people from diverse backgrounds.

Since launching in 2013, the Ramadan Festival has brought more than a million people together with the mission of bringing communities together and developing the understanding of Ramadan.

The Ramadan Festival 2025 is inspired by the theme of ‘Connection’, a force that unites people across cultures, environments and backgrounds, fostering community, empathy and understanding that offers a shared sense of community. With a shared commitment to community values, Bradford, UK City of Culture, aims to showcase the rich history, heritage, and culture of its people through our partnership with the festival.

Ramadan Festival 2025 opens with the Welcome Ramadan Conference at St George’s Hall – a day-long exploration and celebration of connection in all its forms – featuring inspiring discussions, engaging panels, and keynote speeches from visionary speakers. The Welcome Ramadan Conference will be held on Saturday, 15 February at St George’s Hall, tickets are on sale from Friday 24th January 10am.

The Ramadan Festival 2025 will be a two-month celebration of Connection – through a collection of artistic, cultural and creative events to inspire and engage audiences from all ages and backgrounds. With Ramadan Tent Project we aim to unite communities, fostering understanding and compassion. while shaping a renewed and inspiring narrative of our vibrant city. Join us for Ramadan Festival 2025 as we turn strangers into friends.

Tickets for the Welcome Ramadan Conference will be released on Friday 24 January, 10am.
