The Great Adventure Build

Woodland Tribe

Children and young people came together to build the playground of their dreams!

Youngsters, families and the brilliant Woodland Tribe came together in 2025 to make an adventure play structure like no other – created, designed and built by children.

The Great Adventure Build came to Bradford twice throughout 2025; first in April at Wibsey Park, and again in August at Ladyhill Park. The children were in charge for this unique construction project.

Hammers, saws, nails and a truckload of wood were provided – all the young people needed, was their imagination! Supported by the team at Woodland Tribe, the UK’s masters of constructive play, children and young people got to build their very own epic play space…
