Join us for a free two-day event at Bradford Arts Centre exploring how creativity can transform health, care and community wellbeing.
Bradford 2025 delivered a year-long Creative Health initiative, representing the first significant investment in social prescribing by a UK City of Culture and one of the largest single-year, single-local-authority commitments to social prescribing in the UK.
Across talks, workshops and creative moments, you’ll hear from a wide mix of voices, including keynote speaker Tracy Brabin, artists, practitioners and people with lived experience, sharing what Creative Health looks like on the ground, in communities, and how it’s influencing placemaking, community care and change across councils.
- Day 1 (10am-5pm): A showcase of Creative Health in practice exploring how to build Creative Health into places, systems and policy.
- Day 2 (10am-1.30pm): A special focus on Creative Health projects working with pre-natal support, children and young people, including examples from early years, school-age settings and youth mental health.
Open to practitioners, organisations, policymakers, educators, health professionals and lived experience leaders — anyone interested in Creative Health is welcome.
If you wish to attend both days of this event, please make sure you book tickets to Day 1 and Day 2.
