The Bradford Progress: The Broadway
Paraorchestra with Charles Hazlewood, Jeremy Deller & the people of Bradford.
We experienced the orchestra from the inside out in the unlikely surroundings of The Broadway shopping centre.
The Bradford Progress, our two-day musical journey across Bradford District, arrived in the city centre for a mesmerising performance from Paraorchestra and artistic director Charles Hazlewood.
Some 66 musicians were spread throughout The Broadway to perform Steve Reich’s The Four Sections – Audiences were invited to rove and roam among them freely to experience what Paraorchestra call The Anatomy of the Orchestra.
This event was part of The Bradford Progress, an unbroken two-day musical journey across Bradford District created by Paraorchestra, artistic director Charles Hazlewood, artist Jeremy Deller and the people of Bradford.
