Talking Buildings Workshop

An interactive family friendly workshop personifying the buildings of Bradford.

Talking Building was an interactive family friendly workshop that gave participants the opportunity to personify buildings from around Bradford.

Taking inspiration from Saad Qureshi’s Tower of Now sculpture, this workshop was designed to help attendees think about the architecture they encounter and the impact a building’s design has on how people perceive a city.

This workshop was developed by artists Jon Cannon and Peter Martin. We were also joined by award-winning poet Sile Sibanda. Together, everyone imagined the personalities of buildings and created playful animations.
