Talking Buildings is an interactive family friendly workshop that gives participants the opportunity to personify buildings from around Bradford.

Taking inspiration from Saad Qureshi’s Tower of Now sculpture, this workshop is designed to help us think about the architecture we encounter and the impact a building’s design has on how we perceive a city.

This workshop has been developed by artists Jon Cannon and Peter Martin. On the day we will also be joined by award winning poet Sile Sibanda. Together we will imagine the personalities buildings have and create playful animations together. This workshop is drop in and intergenerational collaboration is encouraged.

An artist's impression of Tower Of Now.
