Sisterverse Poetry Night

A nurturing environment where words wove connection, confidence, and community.

Formerly known as Sisterhood, Sisterverse Open Mic is a creative, warm, and empowering space exclusively for women to share their voices through poetry and spoken word.

Rooted in the heart of Bradford, this female-only event offers a nurturing environment where words weave connection, confidence, and community.

Founded by local poet and spoken word artist Sharena Lee Satti, Sisterverse is more than just an open mic – it’s a vibrant network of expression, healing, and sisterhood. The event was proudly supported by Bradford Libraries, championing literature, creativity, and inclusive cultural spaces across the city.

Please note: this is a female/female identifying only event.
