The Bradford Stories Bus came to The Beacon locations for story spectacular.

We teamed up with our friends at the National Literacy Trust in Bradford to bring the magic of storytelling to The Beacon.

Audiences joined us on board the Bradford Stories Bus, a classic American school bus transformed into an inspiring space for reading, writing and storytelling.

On Board at The Beacon featured a full day of free drop-in story workshops and activities for children aged 5–11. Could you be a poet – or would you rather be a rapper? Would you like to write a novel – or are you hoping to create your own comic book? Whatever your tastes, we had your ticket into a world of stories.
