We invited children and young people to share their stories aboard a classic American school bus.

Bradford 2025 and the National Literacy Trust in Bradford went on tour to The Beacon locations in 2025.

The Bradford Stories Bus is a wonderland of storytelling magic – a classic American school bus transformed by the National Literacy Trust in Bradford into an inspiring space for reading, writing and talking about stories. There were books to read, activities to do and fun to be had, all aimed at children and young people aged 5-11.
