Bradford South Asian Festival

A taste of South Asian wedding culture.

We enjoyed this family-friendly event celebrating culture, creativity, and community.

We got together for a colourful and creative day at the Bradford South Asian Festival with Rangoli and Flower Garland Workshops, specially designed for young children and families.

We explored the traditional art of Rangoli using coloured powders, petals, and stencils to make beautiful designs. Children also had the opportunity to create their own flower garlands, learning how to string fresh flowers into stunning, wearable pieces.

The workshops were drop-in and suitable for all ages. Friendly facilitators guided us through each activity, making it easy and fun for children and parents alike.
