Richard Hawley has played with everyone from Arctic Monkeys to Texas, Pulp to Paul Weller – and now, for one night only, he’s joining forces with the mighty Black Dyke Band to play his music as you’ve never heard it before.

Beautiful St George’s Hall will be the setting for this made-in-Yorkshire soundclash, pairing a world champion brass band with one of Britain’s best-loved singer-songwriters. Following an opening selection of Black Dyke favourites, we’ll hear a set of Hawley classics with added brass – including tracks from the Olivier Award-winning musical Standing at the Sky’s Edge. Don’t miss it.

The Big Brass Blowout

Richard Hawley & the Black Dyke Band is part of The Big Brass Blowout, a weekend-long celebration of the best in brass.
