Pop! is an exploration and celebration of something that we all have to go through, whether we want to or not – growing up.

Pop! is inspired by what Bradford-based dancer–choreographer Vince Virr calls ‘my vivid memories of adolescence, from my voice surprisingly breaking mid-word to the relentless growth of hair in new places’. This colourful all-ages dance show focuses on the moment when our bodies burst with hormonal euphoria – unknown feelings, unseen challenges, unexpected sensations. But it’s also a show about friendship, and about understanding that this individual journey is something we can share together.
