The Peace Museum
Pins for Peace
Mek Summat & The Peace Museum
A supersized celebration of the pin badge.
Local art instigators Mek Summat came together with Bradford’s own world-renowned Peace Museum, to bring a brand new, large-scale exhibition to Saltaire.
A Bradford 2025 Artist-Led Award project.
About the project
Inspired by The Peace Museum’s enviable collection of pin badges, this event brought together stellar contributions from an eye-popping line up of artistic talent.
Artists from our very own district and those from far and wide, each added their own visual voice to a collective and compelling call for peace. Giant badges not only filled the walls of the museum, but also spilt out onto the streets of Bradford, popping up in a variety of outdoor locations.
