Not Even Water

BBC Asian Network’s faith podcast Not Even Water, which focuses on the British Muslim experience of Ramadan, is coming to Bradford for a special live episode and the BBC want you to join them!

The BBC are taking the podcast out of the studio and right to the heart of Bradford, to talk about what Ramadan means to you and they’ll be bringing a few friends with them.

The brilliant comedian Fatiha El-Ghorri, who will be seen in the latest series of Taskmaster and headliner of Asian Network Comedy, is presenting this series and will be joined by some fantastic guests to dissect what the month of fasting means to Muslims and how life looks and feels a little different for 30 days.

Ramadan is the month of fasting for Muslims in which they refrain from food and water during sunlight hours. It’s a time for reflection and personal development but also community – from shared meals to nightly prayers, Muslims from all walks of life come together for this special month.

Come join us on Tuesday 25 March and share what Ramadan means to you and yes – Not Even Water!

Not Even Water is available now on BBC Sounds with a new episode airing weekly.

Tickets are free and will be allocated by random draw with 80% of the tickets going to Bradford postcodes* and 20% going to the rest of the UK.
