Not Even Water

BBC Asian Network

We joined BBC Asian Network for a live episode in Bradford!

BBC Asian Network's Not Even Water came to Bradford!

BBC Asian Network’s faith podcast Not Even Water, which focuses on the British Muslim experience of Ramadan, came to Bradford for a special live episode and the BBC want you to join them!

The BBC took their podcast out of the studio and right in to the heart of Bradford, and talked about what Ramadan means to you.

The brilliant comedian Fatiha El-Ghorri, who was seen in series 19 of Taskmaster and was headliner of Asian Network Comedy, presented this series and was joined by some fantastic guests to dissect what the month of fasting means to Muslims and how life looks and feels a little different for 30 days.

Ramadan is the month of fasting for Muslims in which they refrain from food and water during sunlight hours. This was a time for reflection and personal development but also community – from shared meals to nightly prayers, Muslims from all walks of life come together for this special month.

Not Even Water is available now on BBC Sounds.

I am thrilled to be hosting the new series of Asian Network’s Not Even Water. I’ll be joined by some fantastic guests, and I can’t wait to sit down with them, discuss what Ramadan and faith means to us and answer some burning questions about Ramadan.”
