Unlock your creativity and bring your gaming ideas to life at Bradford College’s new Game Design Saturday Club!

Whether you’re a budding programmer or an aspiring artist, this Club is your gateway to the thrilling world of game creation.

Under the guidance of experienced industry professionals, you’ll dive into essential skills such as storyboarding, character design, coding and user interface development. Each session is designed to be hands-on, ensuring you not only learn the theory but also apply it practically by building your own games. This Club is perfect for anyone looking to explore the digital arts, improve problem-solving abilities, and collaborate with like-minded peers.

Impact Gamers C.I.C.

Impact Gamers C.I.C. is a Bradford based community interest company that exists to inspire young people to not just play games but become game makers.
In our over 10 years of running we have seen how computer games/game making unites people across communities, genders, ethnicity, abilities and ages and want to do more.
We use Clickteam’s “Fusion” for quick and engaging results. We run; lessons and workshop series in schools and community / youth organisations and regular after school groups.
In 2018 we won a BAFTA for our groundbreaking work in mentoring young people.

As an expansion of the network of 127 Saturday Clubs across the UK, support from Bradford 2025 UK City of Culture has enabled the launch of a new Saturday Club at Bradford College. The Games Design Saturday Club will provide 13–16-year-olds in the city with access to the college’s expert tutors and fantastic facilities – for free!

Club members will also take part in national events, including Masterclasses with leading industry professionals and the Summer Show, where Saturday Clubs nationwide exhibit their work in a public exhibition at Somerset House in London – all for free!

These new Saturday Clubs start on 29 March 2025 and will run weekly until 12 July 2025 (term time only).
