Mogul Mowgli (15)

An award-winning drama that followed Zed, a British-Pakistani rapper on the brink of international fame. Starring Riz Ahmed.

Mogul Mowgli blended music, poetry, and raw emotion, to offer a deeply human exploration of ambition, heritage, and resilience.

We kicked off your 2025 Autumn with a captivating film night!

This award-winning drama followed Zed, a British-Pakistani rapper on the brink of international fame, whose dreams were suddenly halted by a debilitating illness. Returning home, Zed faced the physical toll of his condition while confronting family tensions, cultural identity, and haunting visions rooted in generational trauma.

After the screening, we held an engaging Q&A session with Sudha Bhuchar, where we delved into the film’s themes, creative process, and the powerful story at its heart.
