Event Details
Date 28 Jul & 10 Aug 2025
Times 10am–2:30pm
Location The Beacon – Cliffe Castle Park
Ages All ages
Under 18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult

Bradford-based artist Lou Sumray invites you to join her at The Beacon at Cliffe Castle Park to get creative – inspired by Bradford’s open spaces.

Pick up a pen and make your mark on one of Lou’s six-foot-tall art screens – you provide the inspiration, we’ll provide the pens.

Everyone’s welcome at these family-friendly workshops, admission is free (no need to book), and we’ll provide all the pens, paints and materials you need to get creative. You can also make your own crafty creations to take home.

Lou will be running more art-making sessions later in 2025, when The Beacon makes its stop in Lister Park – and at the end of the year, we’ll bring together the art screens from all four locations to make one large Beacon artwork!
