The Beacon

Let’s Make

Lou Sumray

We got creative with at these free family-friendly workshops in Lister Park.

Bradford-based artist Lou Sumray invited us to join her at The Beacon to get creative – inspired by Bradford’s open spaces.

We invited everyone to pick up a pen and make their mark on one of Lou’s six-foot-tall art screens.

Everyone was welcome at these family-friendly workshops, admission was free and we provided all the pens, paints and materials needed to get creative.

Lou ran the sessions at all of the parks that The Beacon visited. At the end of the final session, we brought together the art screens from all four locations to make one large artwork.
