Afrobeat, funk, jazz, soul… No one sounds quite like KOKOROKO, one of the most exciting live bands in the UK right now.

Fronted by a three-piece all-female horn section led by trumpeter Sheila Maurice-Grey, KOKOROKO take a whole melting pot of influences and brew them into a sound entirely their own – reflective one minute, electrifying the next.

Fresh from a sell-out UK tour, they’re coming to Bradford for the first time as part of Bradford 2025 – a fittingly thrilling end to our weekend-long celebration of the best in British brass. As KOKOROKO themselves put it: ‘Come as you are – and share joy’.

Support comes from TC & the Groove Family, a mighty 10-piece collective from Leeds who cook up afrobeat, breakbeat, jazz, highlife and hip hop into an irresistible stew. Bring your dancing shoes.
