International Roma Day Celebration

European Drom CIC

Everyone was welcome at this celebration of Roma culture.

Audiences joined the Roma community of Bradford District for a day of performances, activities and much more celebrating Roma culture – on the Friday before International Roma Day (8 April).

There was storytelling, poetry, Roma folk music, dance and even traditional Roma food, all celebrating the rich culture of this unique community. Everyone who wanted to learn about and experience Roma culture was welcome at The Beacon in Wibsey Park.
