Guided Walk: Top Withens
With the Midweek Wayfarers.
People took a walk around the classic pilgrimage of Haworth Parsonage to Top Withens (reputedly Emily Bronte's "Wuthering Heights”) and enjoyed some fine distant views along the way.
- Duration: 4.5 hours
- Starting Location: Penistone Hill Country Park, Main Car Park
- Length: 8 miles
This walk left at Penistone Hill Country Park and followed the valley to Bronte Bridge, where you then climbed to The Height and contoured round to Top Withens. This circuit then continued past Harbour Lodge and back to Penistone Hill Country Park.
