Ginger Johnson’s Fun House

Welcome to the House of Fun.

The RuPaul’s Drag Race UK winner made her Bradford debut at Loading Bay.

Ginger Johnson is a very silly sausage wrapped in a 1950s Hollywood film star, then wrapped in bacon and cooked in the oven at 200º until she’s golden brown and crispy round the edges. She’s also the season 5 winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK.

Ginger’s blend of camp laughs and bareknuckle confessionals have earned her a reputation as a risk-taking performer with a big heart – and an even bigger mouth. We were thrilled to welcome her to Bradford for this one-night-only spectacular, which promised (and delivered!) sequins, stories and self-penned songs that bewildered and beguiled in equal measure.

The Fun House doors opened with a performance from Lady Bushra, the razor-sharp Bradford-born drag superstar-in-waiting.
