Times 10am–12:30pm
Location The Beacon – Bowling Park
Ages Under 5s

Toddlers and their grown-ups can get arty at this special creative morning – presented as part of Our Patch, Bradford 2025’s free community creativity programme.

It all takes place at Bowling Park in The Beacon, our unique touring venue, and it’s completely free – just turn up on the day.

Littl’uns are welcome to take part in two different activities – one inside The Beacon and the other outdoors in Bowling Park (weather permitting). Older siblings are welcome to join us, too.

DRAW! Workshop

Join a local artist, Maddie from Story Bees, inside the Beacon for a fun, hands-on drawing and craft session for families with young children – presented as part of DRAW!, our nationwide drawing programme supported by David Hockney. We’ll be encouraging little ones to explore art through playful, age-appropriate activities.

Messy Play Adventure

Better Start Bradford invite you to a fun session of sensory play. Squishing, pouring and experimenting sparks curiosity and supports early learning through open-ended, hands-on activities. It’s the perfect way for little ones to explore and grow – and get very messy in the process!

Creative Junk Workshop

Join 50 Things To Do Before You’re Five for a fun and creative junk workshop inside The Beacon—perfect for getting imaginative with your little ones!
