There will be the opportunity to chat to employers about creative careers across different organisations as well as learning about the educational offer and creative courses available in the North.

This is your chance to spend the day in one of Bradford’s newest performance venues, Bradford Live!

Our host of creative VIPs will be announced soon, along with the schedule for this day of creativity.

  • Panel discussions with Industry Professionals
  • Speed mentoring sessions, this is your chance to get 1-1 advice from those who work in the industry
  • Live music, spoken word and comedy by local artists
  • Exhibitors – employers and training providers giving an insight into the world of work and support for your next steps
  • Specialist workshops in creative writing, self tapes, art & design, and how to use digital tools and social media to get noticed

Quiet Hour

From 10am – 11am, we will host a quiet hour for anyone who wants to attend that would benefit from a quieter environment. An allocated quiet space will also be available throughout the day.

A prayer space will also be available on the day.

Content Warning

Please note that some of the performances may include strong language and themes of genocide, fascism and racism.

An event like this is essential in spreading the awareness of what opportunities and career paths are out there for young people who are interested in the industry.”

A portrait photo of two best mates and performance/live art makers, Jess Murrain and Lua Bairstow. There is a small silver car with a Palestine sticker on its window, parked beside a road on the edge of the Baildon Moor in Bradford, West Yorkshire. Jess, a brown person with blonde and brown afro hair, is standing in front of the back of the car. Posed, looking directly at the camera. Wearing white Doc Martens, grey trousers with pink pinstripes, a sheer black shirt, a vivid pink feather boa, sunglasses and headphones. The door of the car is open. Lua, a white, gender non-conforming person, is standing next to Jess and beside the open car door, looking back at the road behind them. Wearing a pinstriped suit with a turquoise shirt just peeking through.
