Attendees learnt new skills in a hands-on calligraphy session led by artist Razwan Ul-Haq.

The acclaimed calligrapher and artist, Razwan Ul-Haq, held a special workshop at Cartwright Hall Art Gallery inspired by his then-current exhibition Fighting to Be Heard.

They explored the early Qur’an manuscripts that were on display in the exhibition, then took part in a practical calligraphy session based on the scripts they saw.

Fighting to Be Heard ran at Cartwright Hall Art Gallery from 17 January to 27 April 2025 as part of Bradford 2025.
