Shipley is set to burst into Bloom this September – with a major spectacle taking over the heart of the town.

Bloom is a large-scale performance that pays tribute to the past, present and future of Shipley and its people. It’s a show about yesterday and about tomorrow, about our shared industrial heritage and what we might build next. It’s a show about the power of community and the importance of connection. And, most of all, it’s a show about how we’re stronger when we come together as one.

Bloom is created for Bradford 2025 by Upswing, one of the UK’s leading contemporary circus companies. This joyful large-scale production features a cast of hundreds, including local movement artists, a community choir and Upswing’s own team of world-class acrobats. The world premiere takes place in September in the centre of Shipley. Don’t miss this one.
