BBC Writers: who we are and what we do

Calling all aspiring writers!

The BBC Writers team were in town with advice on how to submit your scripts and info on their new Write Across Bradford opportunity.

BBC Writers is always on the look-out for talented writers from across the UK and ROI with an original voice, unique characters and great stories to tell.

At this event, you found out more information about the BBC Writers team, our remit, how to submit your scripts to us, top tips and details on our writing schemes and opportunities.

BBC Writers also shared plans for our Write Across Bradford opportunity, an eight-week development programme specifically designed to support emerging writers and creatives who are at the early stages of their writing careers in the Bradford city region. This panel included Jessica Loveland (Editor), Esther Jackson-Burton (Producer) and Emily Demol (Development Coordinator).
