An epic night of free comedy at The Alhambra Theatre.

The BBC New Comedy Awards Grand Final came to The Alhambra Theatre to host an amazing night of free comedy.

The final of the biggest comedy talent search was filmed in Bradford, and you were invited to be in the audience for this BBC One show!

The evening was hosted by multi-award-winning actor, writer, and comedian Guz Khan, alongside Taskmaster favourite Fatiha El-Ghorri. The competition featured six of the hottest comedians, with Eli Hart being crowned the winner of the BBC New Comedy Awards 2025.

For 30 years, these prestigious awards have launched the careers of the UK’s best-loved comedians. Past entrants included Lee Mack, John Bishop, Sarah Millican, Peter Kay, Jason Manford, Joe Lycett, Tom Allen, Rhod Gilbert, Alan Carr and Dan Tiernan, to name a few.
