BBC Introducing, the BBC’s music discovery platform, is shining the spotlight on the region’s best unsigned and emerging artists during four concerts at Bradford 2025.

About BBC Introducing at the Underground

We’ll be hearing from some of the most exciting new bands and singers from Bradford District and around – hand-picked by the tastemakers at BBC Introducing for four gigs at Bradford’s Underground. They’ll be following in the footsteps of Florence + the Machine, Olivia Dean and Sam Fender, just some of the acts who received BBC Introducing support at the start of their careers.

To be in with a chance of being selected to play one of these showcases, artists must be on the BBC Introducing Uploader. Create a profile for yourself with as much detail as possible, along with some of your tracks. More guidance can be found on the BBC Introducing website.

BBC Introducing has been supporting unsigned, undiscovered and under-the-radar artists since 2007 – on regional radio shows, on national stations from BBC Radio 1 to the BBC Asian Network, and through BBC Introducing stages at festivals such as Glastonbury, Reading & Leeds and Latitude. We’re delighted to be presenting the first BBC Introducing gigs in Bradford as part of Bradford 2025.

29 Aug Line Up

Niki Kini (support)

At 23 years old, Niki Kini is no stranger to the music scene. The singer-songwriting Pop Princess started out on YouTube at the age of 13, and has since worked alongside the likes of RAYE and Rina Sawayama.
Niki has gained recognition for her playful lyrics that showcase her signature wit and humour. Her funk-tinged alt-pop has earned her a coveted spot at Reading & Leeds Festival this summer. Other accolades include being Bobby Friction’s (BBC Asian Network) youngest ever ‘Artist of the Week’ (2017) and being crowned Future Hits Radio’s ’Track of The Year 2024’. 100% independent, Niki brings the same fierce integrity to her artistry as she does to every aspect of her career.

Flowzy (opener)

Flowzy is an artist from Bradford who’s been making music for over 10 years, blending melodic rap with different genres to create his own vibe. Inspired by the sounds of Chris Brown, Kid Ink, and T.I., he’s not just a rapper – he produces, engineers his vocals, and even directs and edits his own videos. With over 500K streams on his new platforms and 1M+ on his old ones, Flowzy is stepping into 2025 with a fresh sound, a clear vision, and the drive to stay consistent.
