About the companies

Hands Some Feet is a contemporary circus company based in Tampere, Finland. The company was founded by Liisa and Jeromy Nuuk, both graduates of ÉSAC, the renowned circus university in Belgium. With a focus on creating exceptional contemporary circus experiences for both indoor and outdoor venues, Hands Some Feet strives to make their performances accessible to all audiences, resonating with a wide range of people. Their debut show, “Hands Some Feet,” premiered in Finland in 2018 and has since been seen by over 55,000 spectators worldwide. With their creative vision and dedication, Hands Some Feet continues to push the boundaries of contemporary circus, delighting audiences around the globe.

Opus Company is co-founded and directed by Kerttu and Adam Opus. Creating multidisciplinary work, they focus on contemporary circus, visual theatre and installation art.

“Central to our artistic exploration is the concept of circus dramaturgy—an approach that delves into the psychological and emotional dimensions of the human experience. Our performances question the traditional confines of circus, exploring the realms of illusion and blurring the lines between what is real and what is imagined. By intertwining physicality, symbolism, and metaphor, we seek to unravel the complexities of the human condition.”
