‘One of our finest singers, regardless of category’ – The Sunday Times

Jacqui Dankworth is one of the country’s leading vocalists. A member of the Dankworth jazz dynasty (daughter of Dame Cleo Laine and Sir John Dankworth, brother of bassist Alec), her music shows her mastery not just of jazz but also soul, folk and the blues, as well as her acute sensibility as a songwriter and lyricist – and we were thrilled to welcome her to Bradford.
