With belting live music, storytelling and sky-high physical mayhem, flying into Bradford for one weekend only, A World Without Death was an unforgettable experience that set the heart racing and reminded us of the joy of being alive.

Rolling into town and set on the back of a HGV lorry, Displace Yourself Theatre brought you A World Without Death. With an international cast of troubadours and aerialists, accompanied by our local Community Chorus, we brought you the tale of a child who is seeking out Death, to try and save their mother’s life. There was laughter, a few tears, music and dancing, and of course…zombie chickens…

Displace Yourself is a dynamic theatre company based in Bradford, comprised of a wild ensemble of international creatives – from actors to musicians, visual wizards, and wellness specialists all dedicated to spreading joy and healing through our imaginative productions. Their shows are highly visual, a riotous blend of playfulness and tenderness, where audiences aren’t just spectators – they’re part of the action! With over 15 years’ experience under their belt, they create engaging and immersive performances that captivate audiences worldwide.

A World Without Death was an incredible tale about every one of us, that left us loved-up and dancing!
