Yorkshire Heritage Way Walk
Take a walk from the centre of Bradford to the UNESCO World heritage Site of Saltaire.
This walk is the first 4.5 miles of a much longer 42 mile hike all the way from Bradford to Ripon Cathedral.
Our shorter route begins in the centre of Bradford and winds its way through the city streets before picking up a series of connected greenways out to Shipley, where the canal towpath leads to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Saltaire.
We leave the route in Saltaire, but you can follow the next stages of the route out to Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal in the Yorkshire Heritage Way Guidebook, produced by the Burley Bridge Association: burleybridge.com
