This route is based on the Millennium Way Circular Walk 8 and takes you out onto the wild moors behind Haworth and Stanbury.

It starts from Penistone Hill, but it easily begin from Haworth if you prefer the extra distance.

The walk takes a good three hours or more, depending on how long you spend at the Brontë Bridge and Top Withens. The weather on the moors can change quickly, so make sure to carry extra layers along with food and water. We would recommend you to take an OS Map (or the app) with you too.
