Bradford will have its first Tech Week from Monday 19th October.
Launched by Bradford Means Business, the T&A, LOCALiQ and tech experts EXA networks, TECH week aims to bring the idea of tech as a career to the minds of school and college students across the district.
Challenging young people to think about how tech impacts almost every business type, the programme highlights how developing tech skills is important across all sectors, from data inputting to Artificial Intelligence and everything in between.
Bradford tech week a values led initiative to illustrate how tech can contribute to helping close gaps in skills, aspiration and inequality which are more important than ever for the post-covid world.
Working closely with the University of Bradford, Bradford College, CityFibre, Exa Networks, Cloud2, Teledyne, BTL, Virtual College, Emerald and many more to develop an interactive programme of activities for students and give them a taste of life in the tech sector.
