We’re looking for bold, diverse and confident filmmaking from people who live or study in the Bradford district.
MAKE:FILM aims to showcase the talent of contemporary storytellers of any age based in the Bradford district with two levels of grants up to £1,000 and up to £4,000. The films can be on any subject and the tone could be distinctive, unexpected, disruptive, serious or witty.
Films can be made in any genre and style – documentary, fiction, animation, cross-genre, narrative or presented. They must be suitable for broadcast/exhibition in public for audiences of all ages.
Films can be made on any equipment from a mobile phone to high-end kit.
Your film should be between 90 seconds and 12 minutes long.
- Closing date for applications: 12 noon on 12th October 2020
- All grants awarded: 5pm on 30th October 2020
- Production: between October 2020 and 31 January 2021
- Completion and delivery: by 31 January 2021
- Screening: Winter/Spring 2021
Funding the completion of an existing project will also be considered, but it will still need to fit within the timetable above.
