Marketing & PR Manager

We seek an outstanding marketing and communications professional to work with the Bid Director and other colleagues to develop, manage and promote Bradford 2025. You will develop high-impact, district wide marketing, PR, media, stakeholder and digital plans across all channels and build widespread support and enthusiasm for the bid.

The successful candidate will have a track record of creating engaging, accessible and innovative campaigns that appeal to a wide range of audiences.  They will have experience in brand development and campaign planning and experience of working in partnership with collaborators including agencies, specialist contractors and suppliers. A strong imaginative and creative approach to marketing and communications is an essential requirement of this role and candidates should be able to demonstrate both strategic thinking and hands-on tactical skills.

The role is a 16 month engagement.  It could be full time or a flexible part time position, a freelance engagement or a secondment and can be undertaken through a combination of home-based or remote working by agreement, details of which will be discussed with candidates during recruitment.
