The creative sector is amazingly resourceful in creating solutions, generating new ideas to help and testing new ways of working. Arts and cultural activity is essential for health and wellbeing and if people are isolated they won’t be able to enjoy the usual rich offer of projects and activities across the district.
Bradford District Council has created a new agile fast turnaround small grants programme for the local creative workforce in a call-out for ideas for original digital work.
- Who can apply: Artists, freelancers, community groups, arts organisations
- Timescales: Projects to take place March 2020 to August 2020
- Grants available: £500 to £1000 initially available until 20 April.
RESPONSE is designed to both help to support the sector in challenging times and also sustain the communities we work with. It will operate as pilot programme in the first instance and the plan is to monitor the demand and scale and adjust where possible. So if you or anyone you know has has a digitally-native idea and could use some fast turnaround funds to kick start their project find out more here.
