4,000 new businesses, a City of Culture bid, Darley Street Market and other reasons why Bradford is ‘buzzing’
There is a “real buzz” around Bradford at the moment – a chamber of trade boss has told the city’s councillors.
Yorkshire Live reports that Mark Goldstone, Head of Policy at West & North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce, made the comments during a discussion about Bradford’s economic strategy at a meeting of the Council’s Regeneration and Environment Scrutiny Committee.
“There is a real buzz in Bradford at the moment. It is similar to what I saw in Leeds 10 years ago. Someone said then Leeds had got its mojo back. Bradford is the same now, there is a real can-do spirit.”
